Learn to swim - Level 1
Level 1 is our beginning swimming group. Children should be able to confidently follow instructions before starting. Most children need to be about 4 before they can start in this group - if your child is younger and you want them to start lessons in Featherston please talk to our learn to swim co-ordinator before enrolling them.
Our coaches for the 2018/19 season for Level 1 are John and Corin Renor.
To be able to graduate Level 1 children must be able to:

enter the water unassisted

move in the water

demonstrate safe exits

submerge and blow bubbles

pick up objects
